Eddlemanism
Eddlemanism - To replace commonly understood, well documented terminology or technical metaphor with obscure or undescriptive terminology for no other apparent reason or value than for the enjoyment of the changer of the word. For example, replacing the word 'folder' with the word 'context', or 'library' with 'facility'. Thus replacing the easy exchange of ideas and gaining of understanding with an endless repetition of the following conversation:
"What is a context?"
"It's a folder."
"Oh. Why don't we just call it a folder?"
"Because _______ said so."
"Ah! Gotcha."
