Of the thousands of reasons why I love the NFL, here's another one that just occurred to me. I didn't miss it at all today. I have enjoyed this 'bye week' and look forward to months more of them. The season starts and ends at exactly the right time. It starts right when I am about to gnaw open my own arm with anticipation and ends right about the time I am sick of looking at a TV screen. Perfect.
